Looks like it's got the same awful cup holders that are the plague of the Pilot. Will it get the 9-speed?

Who would argue with those? Other great Hondas include any Accord V6 6 speed manual, particularly the 7th gen sedan, the CL-S and TL-S, the TL SH-AWD 6MT, the S2000 and my favorite oddball, the ZDX. Oh yes, I quite like the ZDX.Sorry, my favorite Honda has gotta be between the Prelude Type SH and the 94+ Integra GS-R.
Personally I preferred the way my '61 Impala stopped with unassisted, single pot master cylinder drum brakes all around over the dual reservoir master cylinder, vacuum boosted front disc conversion. It may have more overall stopping power and better fade but it feels so artificial now. It's the styling, man, the styling. That and the color.
BTW, my '64 Plymouth Valiant had drum brakes all around.
According to the press release, all of these models (the LX through Touring) will get the CVT. No manual on "regular" Civics anymore.Looks like it's got the same awful cup holders that are the plague of the Pilot. Will it get the 9-speed?
I still have my EG6 (hatchback). My daughter is driving and love it. Very simple. I would buy another one in a heartbeat (that is if you can still find one in a very good condition)I prefer the 5th gen 2 door hatchback and the 6th gen Si... of course I'm partial to the 8th gen Si since I owned one and felt like a racecar driver shifting at 8,900 RPM.

And my favorite styled Honda of all time is the early-mid 80's Accord 3 door hatch...

I will gladly accept it as a donation. I personally find that (some, specifically the Japanese) vehicles from the mid 90's to the mid 00's were the best built vehicles ever. Just enough technology to make them ultra reliable and simple enough you can do pretty much anything with basic tools. As much as my '96 Accord was a slow car I don't know many cars that could take 16 year old idiot me doing reverse to drive burnout MANY times and never so much as hiccup.I still have my EG6 (hatchback). That engine will likely cost more than the Si... not to mention having a frame, suspension, brakes, transmission, driveshaft, rear diff, halfshafts, hubs, etc. that can actually handle that kind of number. Say you picked some worthless car or truck, less than $5k. Probably looking at another $50k or more to make the vehicle actually be able to do anything other than act as a run stand for that monstrosity.I want a vehicle with this engine in it:
