Like the looks.
Like the interior.
Nice when it's new.
I wouldn't expect it to be a good car much past 150k.

😥 Picture makes me sad.Meh, wish they still made my mom's early '90s Civic in the original Cappuccino color. Simple, clean, attractive.

Funny you bring that up. My 2004 Civic that I gave away, was equipped with drum brakes in the rear. I do dislike drum brakes, lol. I believe that the redesigned 05 still had drum brakes on the rear, while the Acura version had disc brakes all around. You could actually convert your Civic to disc brakes on the rear by changing out the parts from an Acura CSX.Do the two of you yearn for the days before four-wheel disc brakes and ABS?
I have no reason to believe this car wouldn't make it past 150k miles. I don't know if it has a CVT, but I know Honda has done a pretty good job with them and there haven't been too many failures. I also think they've worked out the initial problems on the 1.5T engines as well.
Turbo pressure causing engine oil to become diluted with fuel. Requires more frequent oil changes. I have little faith in CVT transmissions. Add in all of the digital equipment, ya, I don't have confidence in this vehicle long term.I tend to agree with this... I haven't heard any reliability issues with Honda's CVT and the 1.5T issues, while disappointing, seem to be sorted as well. Personally if I was getting one I'd be looking at the Sport with the K20 and (if I can dream) a manual transmission.
