I am in NC. Here is a price quoted by a local dealer. Wondering if this is a good deal or if I can do better?
I can wait for 2 more months if there is an opportunity for prices to come down.

2020 EX-L FWD

Actual Price Paid before extras $32,395
Dealer fitted extras (Resistall $799, Mudguards $189, Wheel Lock $139)
Dealer Doc Fees $579
Total before Title and other fees $34,101

I will not be trading anything. Dealer mentioned that Honda loyalty is already included in the price.

Thank you

If you are patient enough, you may get a better deal, I have created an email buyer agent to check price for a Honda Pilot priced at 18% off MSRP

Thanks. I will keep monitoring your link. Any idea, what will be the mandatory dealer added items at college park honda? I am looking for one without any dealer add ons.

Hi.
I'm currently making an offer on a 2020 Pilot Elite (White with black interior).
Tulsa Oklahoma. I'm eligible for the $1000 Honda loyalty offer.

My first offer was:
Vehicle Price: $40,500.00
Doc Fee: $499.00
8 Year 120,000 mile 0 deductible HondaCare Extended Warranty: $1,300.00
Total: $42,299.00

Sales person countered with "best they can do out the door is":
Vehicle Price: $42,043.00 (Says that includes all weather floor mats, rubber trunk tray, wheel locks, and window tint)
Doc Fee: $499.00
Says the warranty would be $3,400.00

Of course they are way out of line on that warranty. I've got several bids from the online dealers (Hyannis, Saccuci, Curry) and they are all in the $1360 to $1485 range.

What do you think? Should I see if they'll go lower on the vehicle price?

Thanks.
That price is really good on an Elite, but that warrant is way out of line. Should not be over $1500 imho. If there can half the warranty then it’d be worth jumping on.

CB: does that include taxes and plate?
No. It was around $34500 after taxes ,fees, and trade in (2015 Accord).
Test drove at 1 dealer and shopped prices from 6-7 dealers all via email. Once I got to this selling price nobody would beat it or throw in extras, would just match it. So went to closest dealer. Roughly 20% off MSRP. And I’ll get $500 in Costco cash in the next few weeks as well.

Good Job. The Costco cash is a no brainer. Even if you have to apply for the card, ($45), you still net $450 with the Visa card they send you for buying a Pilot before June 2nd. Have to make sure your selling dealer sends in the paperwork though. And you have to dime up Costco purchase program to let them know you made the purchase.
Note: Dealers around here have told me about the $1750 manufacturer to dealer incentives. Dealers can give you some of it or none of it, depending on how bad they want to move metal.

Is it still $1750? I read somewhere that it is $3000 now. Not sure if that is true. It was listed as hidden rebates.

AWFPack: The only thing I could find was $1750 on the Pilot. Manufacturer to Dealer money. Hold back (about 2% of MSRP is another pot they can dip into in order to move vehicles.

Above was the second lowest OTD (without trade) in the Phoenix Metro Area, best was ~$36,694. However, they appear to have given us at least $900 above market value for our trade in. 9k for a 2016 Civic EX with an accident history and 82k miles. I jumped on it so fast since most sites marked it as $8000 trade-in value.

Here was the FINAL purchase:

Dealer has 2019 EX-L FWD. If I have a quote for 2020 EX-L FWD say $31,500 before taxes. What will be a good discount for 2019 model from 2020 model? $2000??
