does anyone know what the line under the speedometer that goes from 0 to 50 as you are driving is for. its a small bar at the bottom there is nothing in the manual about this.

Although it is not on my 2017 EX-L, but my wife's CR-V has something similar. I'm pretty sure it is for showing you the real-time MPG.

I have a 2018 EX. It is the mpg you are getting in real time. As you accellerate it will go down. When you coast or drive conservatively it goes up. Mine also glows in a green line around the speedometer and tach when you are driving conservative and gets white as you press the gas down. It's purpose is to help see when you are driving more economically.
