I got back from the dealer yesterday and I was told that my outside temperature gauge was not functioning “possibly” due to my aftermarket alarm (which was installed at another dealership).
They stated temp shows 77 but it was over 90 degrees outside. When I drove off it did show 77 and it was in the 90s. But after about 5-10 minutes the temperature rose to the correct temp. And since then I’ve noticed that it does take a long time for the temp to read correctly, but eventually does. Is this normal or is there actually something wrong with my Pilot? Do your Pilots register the temp quickly or does it take a while?
Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve been keeping an eye on mine and it seems to be registering correctly. I’m guessing the mechanic didn’t leave the car running long enough.
