I've just had the 2019 Pilot (Touring) for just about 3 days and I'm having issues with the tailgate consistently working hand-free. I'm kicking exactly as the manual says and it will open and close inconsistently. This is very annoying, especially since this was one of the features we really liked.

Is anyone else having this issue?!?

No hands free on my 2005 but take it back to the dealer and have them fix it. Make sure you can consistently get it to fail before you take it in and demonstrate the issue to them when you drop it off. Don’t give them the opportunity to say the issue was not reproducible.

you have to have the key fob in pocket to open it, it wont work if you don't have the key fob in you possession which I think kind of stupid as sometime they key is in the car, would have been designed if the car is open you should be able to open it with kick
