My husband did the first oil change on our new Pilot at a little over 8,000 miles. We found oil pooled on the ground afterwards, which is very unusual with my husband’s lengthy experience of changing oil. Seems to pool up on the frame and we coudn’t figure out why. Then on the same day, the radio was playing and goes blank, saying no audio connection. What’s up with all this?

On your next oil filter change. Break loose the oil filter but not enough to let oil seep out. Now slide a quart size or gallon size freezer bag over the oil filter. Spin the bag and filter off. The spilled oil will end up in the bag, very little mess to clean up on the frame .

The radio problem on the 2019, you may have to wait for the pending so called software fix. You might stop by a dealer and get it documented to the vehicle history.
