Price:
2019 Pilot EX AWD:
MSRP: 37,275
Base Price: 30,651
Tax: 1,916
OTD: 33,000

Experience: I have surveyed dealers in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. Whilst Houston dealers don't want to come down with price, they are at least nice and respectful. I am really not impressed with the DFW dealers, especially David mcDavid. For the DMD at Irving, the sales would like to come down for 6500, but the manager override the sales and said he would not come down that much. I have never seen this before. For the DMD at Frisco, the sales manager laughed at me and send a text message to do so, asking if my bottom line price of 33K is true or serious, saying that he meant that he can get an EX AWD at 33K, impossible. Well, I did! DMD folks also told me that everyone at DFW area has dealer add on. I am not impressed with their attitude.

I do seriously suggest that DFW folks to reject the sick attitude of these mockers and go down to San Antonio to cut deal with the amigos, who are much more friendly and easier to work with. I got two dealers would like to work with me in my price range.
Having lived in Irving, Tx in the past, David McDavid Honda was very difficult to deal with and I walked out of their dealership vowing never to shop them again. However, in 2012 I did visit their Acura dealership in Plano, Tx and was treated with nothing but fantastic customer service. I purchased our MDX from them having found their price, lack of add ons, and their service department to be the best in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex!

Just a different way of doing things from brand to brand, store to store, manager to manager even within the same dealer group. That is why it is usually important to shop around. Wish you the best with you new purchase.

2019 Honda Pilot Elite
AWD

MSRP 49,065
42,000 + TTL and 150.00 doc fee. They tried to add on 600 "dealer prep fee" at last minute, I said no way and walked out. Received call 8 hours later that they waived dealer prep fee.

When I checked the price for my 2019 Touring AWD he said it didn't matter FWD or AWD nor did the trim level matter. I also paid $1345.00 for the 8/120k $0.00 deductible. You can get a quote by checking their website and calling or emailing them. I believe it was handled by Shane or Shawn don't recall his name right now.

Was this in reply to a question of some sort?

I just bought a 2019 Honda Pilot Touring AWD, with upgrades of tow package (with trans cooler, moving kick sensor, 7 pin trailer connector and hitch receiver), running boards, splash guards, wheel locks, tint, paint and interior protection, pilot liner, and roof rails for $43,150 out the door (tax, tag, title and sticker price). Got sticker price down to $38k from $43k. Had to do stupid Honda finance to get $1k off sticker (planned on paying cash for vehicle), but I'll take the $35 in interest payments (have to pay for a minimum of 3 months before paying off remaining amount) to get the $1k off. Over all, very happy with Tampa Westshore Honda.

Yes, to the question when asked for sharing the price for an EX L AWD post #1388. Since there was no reply to their question I supplied what mine was. Sounded like they might have been asking for an extended warranty quote from what they included in the quote they included in their post

Just trying to help a fellow owner when their question wasn't answered

Nice deal. It seems that's about the most you can get here in the Tampa area, as I got about the same off sticker when I bought my Elite. I got prices from all the dealers around and nobody would come down further.

Where did you ultimately buy from? DMD or somewhere in San Antonio? Thanks!
