My wife has 55K on her 2018 Pilot and she was reviewing the maintenance schedule as we will be taking a few long trips this summer. She mention seeing where the timing belt is replaced at 60K. I didn’t bother asking where this was mentioned but instead decided to read the Forums here. What I found was unless a timing belt code appears or you drive in extreme weather or conditions like towing you should consider changing it 100K or 7 years. Does this sounds about right? Thanks

Let's talk about it a little closer to 100k or 2025.

I personally did ours at 84k or so miles. We drive a lot so it was just worked out timing wise.

I'm a little perplexed on the 3rd gen. Since these are so prone to problems, considering the likelyhood that the lifespan of my transmission has been reduced, due to the torque converter clutch lock problem and now knowing these have a cruddy valve problems. I may opt for an early belt change. With 170k, 180k being the end game.
