Release button on 2018 pilot is not opening the liftgate. Manually opened liftgate on the interior. I have 9 volts to the latch with tester. Called local honda dealer for release button only, and said i have to change whole assembly camera & release button all-in-one, cost is $340 for the part. Is there a cheaper release button or fix for this problem???

This is an irritating rip-off. The $340 certainly doesn't include labor--most people wouldn't have the know-how to DIY. Can you determine what exactly is not working? Wiring, button contact, what?
