Saturday evening we parked our car at the mall parking lot and when we returned a hour later the key fob would not unlock the car. We used the physical key to unlock the driver door and the engine wouldn't start. We tried jumping it twice and no success. After getting Honda Roadside to tow the vehicle to Honda Service they tell me its the back up fuse that got blown. They replaced the fuse and gave me back the keys. As soon as I drove the vehicle off the lot and got to work (30 miles) the fuse blew again. Replaced the fuse and drove back to Honda Service to have them look at it again. Again when the car got turned off the fuse blew again.

They are trying to say its either our cell phone or our in car camera that is blowing the fuse, but that doesn't make sense since we just got the maintenance done 5 weeks ago and all was well and we have had the car since December 2017 and haven't had any issue with the cell phone or in car camera.

Any suggestions??

did you ever find a solution for this? I am currently having the same issue with my 2019 Honda Pilot. I have tried changing the fuse, but each fuse I put in gets blown. Not sure what exactly will be causing it to blow.

Not sure if this is somewhat similar, had a 2006 Pilot with an aftermarket stereo/backup camera stolen. Went to a glass shop to fix side window (broken in), after that was done, found fuse blown (back out the shop). Went back and they replaced the fuse. Later on it blown again every time when backed up the car and it was much later found that a ground wire left from the stolen camera touched a metal bracket inside the stereo housing caused a short circuit. Took the wire out and all was well.
