I just got CEL and scanned to show code 219a. Generically this is air/fuel ration imbalance on bank containing cylinder 1.

Has anyone else had this code? A quick search pointed to it showing up on other Honda models and being related to premature injector failure and/or valve adjustment.

As we only have 50K miles I'm hoping its something less expensive to fix.

Anyway any feedback you can give will be much appreciated.

Cheers.

Don't clear the code. Have the dealer scan it. Have them reference TSB 19-072 and 19-073. If the injectors do show up bad, then you need to see if American Honda will cover any of the repair.

Thanks for the quick reply, sorry I was so slow in responding. I did clear the CEL unfortunately and waited to see what came back, today we got P0430 . I will check the O2 sensors after the cats.
