Not sure if this fits the other infotainment threads...

Dealer is saying they need the car for several days to look at infotainment system reboot issue. Should we ask them to simply replace the head unit?

Already see from other threads that no firmware/ software update is available.

I have a ‘17 Touring. About once a month, my unit freezes, usually while using Carplay. Only way around it while you drive is to either pull over and restart the car, or put up with the freeze until next time. Upon restart, everything back to normal. Seems to be no “on-the-fly” reboot or software update to resolve this. At least I haven’t found one. Not worth the dealer messing with my car.

Thanks. Do you know what version of android you are running? It seems the dealer updated to android 4.4.4.

Did they ever update the 17 Pilot infotainment system firmware? After many calls with Honda corporate we gave up trying to this fixed.
