I have a 2016 touring with 98k miles.
I've never had anything but an oil change (full synthetic) and nothing on maintenance minder has ever come up.
I've considered trading asap, as I am 2k away from ending the extended warranty (looking at lots of other options, including Palisade, Traverse, Sorento, Etc). Honda dealer is telling me that it'll save me 1k from the timing belt that's about to need to be replaced as well. They've still mentioned nothing about the transmission fluid/service/etc. I dont see specifics in my book like i have had on other vehicles.
If I do decide to keep it - is this something I really need to do? If so, what's approximate cost?
I know this particular year/trim has had issues - But since it's gone this long with no issues, is it likely that this one will not have the fate of those that have had issues at 25-45k that I keep seeing with this particular one?
I've had it at the dealership a couple times because it completely stopping on the interstate (just completely lost power, all lights on dash flashing etc), they said it had no problems after keeping it a couple days. I also had the push button start button replaces ($250). Nothing was ever suggested at the dealership either time. I do notice the trans being jerky sometimes.
