2016 Pilot Release Info/Availability?

I was wondering if anyone had an idea of when the new Pilot might be available (is there a new car release window that they usually come out in?) and whether the new model would be difficult to find, or would command a premium? Am I going to be able to negotiate the standard amount off or am I going to be stuck paying sticker or over?

Thanks in advance! I've checked in on this community for years for all sorts of great info on my 2003, but never posted before.

On the Honda website it is still listed under future models and concept cars. The text there says available this summer. I would contact your local dealer to see if they have any better info.

For a new release they will most likely make you pay full sticker, but it will depend on the demand. If they aren't moving the cars then they will discount them as usual. But I wouldn't count on getting a deal. Buy a 2015 if you want a good deal.

Just guessing, but I would expect they wouldn't be available until late in the 3rd quarter of 2015...maybe September. When Honda launched at the Detroit Auto Show, they didn't provide any specifics on HP, MPG, etc.......which leads me to believe these won't be on dealer lots anytime soon.

Regarding discounts, as Brolan said, I wouldn't expect anything significant right off the bat. It will probably be at least 6 months before you start to see any significant discounts.

Discounts as in dealer cash to buyer incentives arrived almost at the same time as the release of the 2009 , second generation Pilots. Worked for me...
Let's hope the discounts reappear with the release of the 2016 Pilots
