had the emissions light come up 4 months ago. It was P0420.

The summary at the time referenced TSB 20-100. It recommends a PGMF-I software update followed by A/F clinder test. Performed both of these tasks and the result is Pass for all cylinders. Tried running catalyst monitor, but I was unable to.

Rec:
Perform the first step of TSB 20-100 (Already done--which was the software update) Then release vehicle to owner for day to day drive. If code comes back, a set of new injectors is recommended

This was at mileage 98812

It is now 108000 and emissions light came back on now.

Time for some new injectors it looks like

spoke too soon, emissions light came back AGAIN. month later after driving few hundred miles.

everything in TSB has been done
first time: software update
2nd time: injectors replaced
3rd time: said forgot another software update
now 4th time, dont know what else it could be. Wonder if they waive the diagnostic fee because the dealer last did the problem.

Has your injection or p0219b and/or p030x been completely fixed? I have the similar issue on my 2018 Odyssey Elite with 88k miles, has similar engine as Pilot. I dropped it to dealer only to find out that they do not have the injectors in stock nationwide altogether they acknowledge the issue. And they called me to pick up the car, this isn’t right as driving a misfire can can create further damage to catalytic converter, and polluting the environment. I’m in California where the car emission is very strict here. This could open up a class action lawsuit and Honda could also be penalized by EPA or government. Anyone has already file lawsuit Or class action lawsuit? I’m interested to join. Thanks
As you read I did it all, injectors replaced, software update, apparently another software update, and after all that, light came back on 3x. Each time they would just disappear though. So far knock on wood it hasnt come back after a while now. So I dont know if its truly fixed or what.

I'm also in CA. My pilot is getting up there in mileage. I believe 120K miles now. Might be perfect timing to trade it in for the 4th gen pilot which should be coming soon.
