Just got the dreaded “Emissions System Problem” light on my 2016 Elite with 66k miles. I have hondacare and dealer is covering the replacement for all 6 FIs. This is crazy for the FIs to fail, especially this early.
Between this issue, and having to get the transmission replaced under failure at 11k miles, it is absurd how bad the build quality has been for this Honda model.
While I have always bought hondacare for all my other cars (00, 03, 12 and 14 Accord, 06 Pilot), and had to have major repairs covered (transmissions, navigation units), I’m highly questioning my Honda/Acura loyalty going forward. Build quality has been declining compared to other competitors.
