2016 EX-L Emissions System Problem

Hello Piloteers!

I just registered for the forum. Our family have owned a multitude of Hondas over the years (Civics, Accords, Odysseys and an N600(?). My wife loves her Pilot.

I'm currently at the dealer (Bernardi Honda in Natick, MA) with my wife's 2016 EX-L w/Honda Sensing 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A) with ~41,500 miles on it. Which has an intermittent "Emissions System Problem" message. I pulled the following codes off of it:

P0430 - Powertrain
Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)

P219B - Powertrain

P0306 - Powertrain
Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected

I'll post back with what they come back with. I set the expectation that this should be covered under the 5 yr/60,000 mi powertrain warranty.

Thanks,

Paul

I am having the same prob. I had my light come on n off since 36k warranty. The code comes as catalyst converter prob which is covered upto 80k. Before replacement the dealership just wanted to update the software. I did that. It went off. A month later.. the light is back on. 3 days after and now at the service.. off again. The code is coming out same (was told. Need to see to confirm) but the dealership now thinks it's the fuel injector and may need to replace... BUT i was informed from looking online that it is not under power warranty (80k) I think this is crazy and should be a manufacture recall!!!! Yes.. this is happening to a fairly new 2016 we all want to enjoy! So frustrated. Advice please.
