2016 EX-L Emissions System Problem

Hello Piloteers!

I just registered for the forum. Our family have owned a multitude of Hondas over the years (Civics, Accords, Odysseys and an N600(?). My wife loves her Pilot.

I'm currently at the dealer (Bernardi Honda in Natick, MA) with my wife's 2016 EX-L w/Honda Sensing 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A) with ~41,500 miles on it. Which has an intermittent "Emissions System Problem" message. I pulled the following codes off of it:

P0430 - Powertrain
Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)

P219B - Powertrain

P0306 - Powertrain
Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected

I'll post back with what they come back with. I set the expectation that this should be covered under the 5 yr/60,000 mi powertrain warranty.

Thanks,

Paul

I had same issue. They replaced fuel injectors and Honda covered 80 percent for goodwill. Weeks later my car lights still go off. Now shows brake problem, etc. today was a key problem. Something everyday. But then it goes away. Now I think it’s just a computer software issue. I’ll be trading in.
