Joining the community with our new purchase, yesterday.
For my wife.
67K.
A couple of small concerns.
From Freeway Toyota - Hanford CA.

Pretty good experience with them.
They had to cut the locking nuts off the wheels to balance them.
And adjusted the alignment.
Traded my wife's 2005 CR-V in.

Probably 1 - 2 years away from new tires.
Other than that - very nice car.

About me:
Pretty capable shade tree mechanic.
Pretty good collection of tools.
My truck 2004 Durango Hemi 5.7 V8 - crude but effective.

In other news, I have 4 CR-V oil filters up for grabs - LOL.

The oil filter for the 2005 CR-V should be the same as for the 2015 Pilot.
This... double check the part numbers but I'm pretty sure the K and J series engines all use the same oil filter...

Watch your paint, it may start peeling if you use a pressure washer. Keep it well cared for, waxed, etc.

The filters do seem to be the same.
The thread size is definitely.
So thank-you for the tip.

Of course, there's probably a 10 page debate on Bob's The Oil Guy!
"250 microns per square inch." etc.
But who's got the time. LOL

I do wash the vehicles with my pressure washer but I use the 15 degree tip at a good distance.
So - fingers crossed.

Got my wife's iPhone hooked up,
so she's pretty happy.
