New to the forum but have visited many times the last few years. This is our second Pilot. We had an 11' now a 14' and hopefully a 16' in the future. I couldn't find a deal on the ZDX wheels I really wanted so I threw 20" Land Rover Sport wheels of a 2013 Land Rover. I love how it turned out.

Very nice! How was the fit? Did you have to use some hub centering device? Is the wheels of your 11 the same as the 2003? I can probably use the wheels of my 2013 RRS for my pilot and buy a new one for it. BTW, where did you source your RRS wheels?

I like it, you wont find another Pilot with your wheels... good for you thinking outside of the box.

you may want to give some details; direct bolt on? size of the rims & tires.

The wheels are lug centric so the special lugs center the wheels. Ours is a 2014. I think the bolt pattern is different on your 2003. I got them on Craigslist for what I deem to be a great deal.

The wheels are 20x10 with 275/40/20 tires. They bolted right on with the Land Rover lugs. Would have been a no go without them because the lugs are designed for the wheels. Not sure the offset but not too aggressive. I was concerned being so wide that they would stick out but they are flush. My other option was 20" Camaro wheels off an SS. There is a few guys on the Oddyessy forum who did that. They look sweet too. Just couldn't wait to get the 22's off the Pilot. Made the ride atrocious. 80mph was a trill ride.

I did RR wheels as well. They use the lugs to center the wheel. No fitment issues for me. Love the look and the ride.

FYI these are heavy wheels in case anybody is wondering.
More pics. I want to see what wheel you used. Looks sick black on white. Well played.

Yes they are heavy as all get out. They are "made well".

I did the 99 RR wheels. 19". Thanks for the kind words. I also went with the chrome lugs because the RR lugs are a thing of beauty IMHO.

Looks good!

May I ask what 22" wheels did you have on your Pilot? What size and what tires? Looking to pick up some 22" wheels soon and don't want a horrible ride.

Unfortunately due to the Pilots not overly big size I don't think that you would be able to get a 22" tire with enough sidewall for it to not be a bad ride. I have my 22's sitting on CL for sale. It looked killer but the ride was absolutely horrible. I included a pic of the Pilot with the 22's before the Rover wheels.

Kamikaze is right. Looks are awesome but ride was terrible. You don't have many sidewall options IIRC.

That sucks to hear. Some say the ride is horrid and others say the ride is better than stock. I feel like 20's look to small in some wheel styles and then again some 22"s look to big.

I found this link with all kinds of different 20's and 22's.

Looks like most go with a 265/40/22.

Have either of you ever had a car with a 40 series sidewall tire? Just wondering because everyone seems to have a different idea of a harsh ride.

I'm looking into getting either 20" or 22" Forgestar F14's in Piano Black for my white Pilot.

Not sure how this wheel will look on the Pilot in either size. 20" would obviously be a better ride and I could do a 20x10 and get the deep concave. However, deep concave on a 20" wheel that's to small for the car may look dumb.

On the 22"s they may look better, but have a so so ride and I'd have to go 22"x9" with the semi concave face.

Tough lol

Depends on the tire I guess. I have 245/40/19's ( Bridgestone Potenza) on my Accord and the ride is okay, not like stock. We have 275/40/20 (continental) on the Pilot. Much better that the 265/35/22 ( no name garbage tires) but still not as good as stock. It handles much better with the wide 275's though.

Thanks for the info. I few of the other guys on here have done 265/40/22 and say the ride is pretty nice and handles much better. Not to many tire options though.
