This is a common discussion across basically every other forum. One thing to note is the wheel load rating. Unlike the aftermarket wheels, OEM wheels do not carry a stamped rating and neither is that information available through any official documentation.
A 2012 TL requires a minimum of 1284lbs rating on a wheel and the 2016 Pilot requires a minimum of 1461lbs rating. Biggest concern is the impact loading (hitting a pothole at hwy speeds) than just looking pretty while standing still. Traditionally all aftermarket wheels have a 2000lbs+ load rating, and that is more than adequate for general usage. There is a member on OdyClub using a Civic Type-R wheels; contrary to numerous advice against it. The risk is on the owner/operator and those whom they encounter along the way.
