Hey guys,

Just wanted to share that I have successfully used 2009 Ford Escape black steel rims with winter tires 235/70/16 tires on my pilot. The great thing about the 2009 escape is that it also uses the same threads as the Pilot so the cheap black steel rims that need the lugs to center the rim will also thread onto the pilot. I have been driving on them for a day now and have not noticed anything wrong whatsoever. The wheels also came with TPS and so far the honda has not had any issues with the TPS (I didn't reset anything), but I am not getting any alerts from the TPS system. Here's the specs for both:

2008 Pilot:
– Center Bore: 64.1 mm
– Thread Size: M12 x 1.5
– Trim Production: [2006 .. 2008]
-Tire: 235/70R16
-Rim: 6.5JJx16 ET45
-PCD: 5x114.3

2009 Ford Escape:
– Center Bore: 67.1 mm
– Thread Size: M12 x 1.5
– Trim Production: [2009 .. 2012]
-Tire: 235/70R16
-Rim: 7Jx16 ET45
-PCD: 5x114.3

Differences:
The differences between the wheels is the Centre bore (which isn't a big deal with the cheap black steel rims, as I explained above, they get centered by the lugs taper), and the rim is a 7J on the Ford Escape rather than a 6.5J. Again, I didn't notice any problems (so far). Just wanted to pass on the info in case someone wants to get some winter rims and they find some from a 2009 ford escape model year.
