Just returned from a 600 mile trip, yesterday, so happy it happened today. Drove to the store, came out the 2008 Pilot EX-l turns over but won't start. It is close to 90 degrees. From what I have read, a weak point is the relay. I am going to try that first.

1. Is the relay on the backside of the fuse box, under the dash on the left side?

2. If so how do I remove the panel to get to it?

3. Is there a separate fuel pump relay.

Thanks

I recall there being some posts regarding the fuel check valve. What happens if you turn the key to the position before cranking and then to off? Repeat a couple times, to prime fuel pressure, before attempting to crank the engine.

It happened again. I turned the key as described and the Pilot started.

Is the check valve part of the fuel pump.

Download the FSM from the sticky thread and watch youtube for the check valve, but this being intermittent there is not guarantee that is the failing part.
Does your green key flash all right?
