It shouldn't do that, but first make sure all your cable connections are secure. A little dielectric grease is also recommended. :)

Otherwise, clear the trouble lights with a Foxwell NT630 Plus scan tool, the pin jumping method (careful not to create nasty shots by getting the pins wrong, especially since you might be looking at them upside down), or pay the dealership 90 bucks to clear them with their proprietary HDS machine. I finally wised up and went with the first option, which has more than paid for itself.
