I have 2005 Pilot. Lately when I crank the car I her a rattling noise in the engine bay on the side where the belts are. When you drive the car the noise will either go away or quiet down or becomes loud again. There's oil in the car. Fluids are fine. The car doesn't miss. I have scanned it for codes and get error codes for the o2 sensor, cam sensor, and crank sensors. Any idea what this noise could be? t:confused:

Could be the alternator. Front bearing can wear out and make noise. How about power steering pump? PS fluid low?

The noise is coming towards the back near the firewall. When you give it’s little gas is goes away then comes back as you idle could the timing belt tensioners or pulleys do this?
