Good Afternoon, Piloteers.

My 2005 Pilot's TPMS icon is lighting up a few miles into every drive over the past 2 weeks. My tires are only a year old. I had air put in yesterday and was told that the tires seem to be in good shape. Any ideas?

Thanks!

If it's not showing a specific tire, i would say the pressure is fine. It's one of the sensors that's on its way out. I have the same issue, so I just bought 4 new sensors.

Tires may have been changed, but what about your TPMS sensors? You're lucky if they last 7 to 10 years, generally.

Batteries in them are probably dead/dying. Two options: Live with it (some do, I can't), or get new TPMS sensors.

I guess I should count my blessings that they lasted 15 years. Will have them checked.

Thanks!
