I have a 2005 honda pilot. It was making a while noise so I checked the power steering fluid and it was low, looked around and noticed the high pressure hose had a tear on top that had fluid seeping out. I bought the new pressure hose , it said it didn't come with the o ring. I took it and a new ring to a mechanic I've used and had him change it. He said it had a ring on it already (I really don't know) well now it's still leaking but it's over on the driver side. It's not leaking a lot at a time but enough where I have to add fluid every couple days. Any suggestions on what to check? Thank you so much

If it’s leaking that much there is likely evidence where the leak is coming from. Start at the lowest point where you see the leak and look upwards from there. I believe that hose connects to the steering rack so it could be the opposite end of the hose where the leak is coming from.

Does it have the new replacement orange o-ring or the old black one prone to fail?
