The stereos are the same size. Double DIN, but the Navigation units are different. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the Navigation on 05 is double DIN, whereas the Navigation on the 06 is larger. The 06-08 Navigation kit will not work on 03-05.

It is for 2003-05 Pilot RES.Where's that one from? It has everything: AM/FM, cassette, DVD (for RES, no doubt) and a CD player (1 or 6?) .
I know my non-RES 05 stereo got 6 disc cd changer. I would imagine the same for the other models. Seems like they used the same stereo for RES and Non-RES with different guts. My cd-changer is in the dash under the climate control.
I wonder how hard it would be to integrate the system with the dvd being where the cd changer is, and needing to re-wire it to the stereo if you go that route. Would make a pretty good write-up.
6 disc + 1 in the head unit makes 7 disc plus tape. If that helps any.
