Hi, I have a 2004 Pilot that the ac is blowing very cold in back but cool and not cold in front.
I have replaced the actuator a year ago, and that’s working fine. I believe my issue is that the blend door foam seal has deteriorated over the years and is not forming a good seal now and letting some warm air into the cool air. The reason I am pretty sureis that I have had pieces of the dark grey foam actually coming through the vents in pieces.

I have googled just the blend door part as well as videos on replacement and have found absolutely nothing about it.
Freon charge is fine.
Thanks for any tips, assistance.

Start with just jiggling the rod. No kidding. :D

Next try pulling it out and sticking back in. No kidding. :D

If none of that brings you joy, it's time for replacement surgery. Still pretty much no kidding. :D

Or it might just need the foam to be glued.

Everything you wanted to know about your blend door actuator and mode control but were afraid to ask:

Blend door problems, AC not cold

Vent/air mode issues (Mix Motor?)
