265 tires would be too wide for the stock wheels.

 

I’m pretty sure we’ve had 245/75-16 in the past as well.

One of the most likely problems you would have with the wider tire is it would hit suspension components especially when turning.

I have 235/85r16s which are 31.7" x 9.3" tires on my '03 Pilot with a lift kit. They fit and don't rub, but I don't think a wider tire would fit with the same height. It's extremely tight.

 

Thank you guys for your input! I'm going to attempt an install tomorrow morning and I'll post pics. I'll note clearance issues as well. I'll try with and without them. I've only purchased 5mm spacers, nothing outrageous, but may not be enough.

 

Okay, ladies and gents! All went well. Installed 5mm spacers and made some minor adjustments to the front wheelhouses (modified the mudgaurds slightly). All I can say is wow! She looks absolutely stunning now! What do you guys think? Now we all know it can be done without ridiculous modifications. Had plenty of thread on the wheel studs. I defintely don't feel unsafe while driving. Will retorque the wheels Monday just to be sure.

 

What size did you end up running?

Dude I'm getting ready to lift my 2011 Pilot to either a 2"-3" and I want to put pretty much exactly the same size tire on!??!?!? Any tips and tricks on doing this and I'll be looking forward to your finished product sounds like it will look CLEAN!! good luck!!!
