I was resetting the oil indicator after changing it.

"12 volt charging system problem.....
take to dealership immediately...."

Didn't throw a code.

I will say that the AC was on when put it into accessory mode while resetting the oil indicator.

Maybe that caused the "problem".

Hoping running the vehicle a bit and having the alternator charge the batt will have the computer reset and clear???

Any help on this would be appreciated.

if your able to just do a quick test of the battery while the car is running with a voltmeter if your showing 14V then you may be right ..it may just been a heavy load ..BUT with that kind of draw for a min or two shouldn't trigger that warning light unless that battery is bad.

When did you buy your Pilot? Nominal voltage for a fully charged 12v battery is 12.6v. Your original battery may be getting close to end of life. Most original batteries are only good for about 3 years.
