Hey guys new to piloteers. My wife's 08 Pilot has gone into limp mode. I scanned it and it ran a p1659 (tacm relay stuck off) I checked the relay under the right kick panel and it worked fine. I also checked the fuse under the hood also fine. So I was curious what you guys thought it might be?

Switch out the relay with an identical known good one to double check.

What method did you use to check the fuse and the relay?

That's another thing I did try, still not positive which one is for the throttle control. It's a group of 4 relays one of which is for the rear washer.

I took out the relays and put 12v to the load side and then checked for continuity across the component side. As for the fuse just checked for continuity across the 2 posts.

Sounds like you used a multimeter, so that rules that out.

On my 2005 Pilot I can tell you one of those relays in the cluster is for the fuel pump.
