  1. 2009-2011 Pilot
I'm looking to replace my front and rear struts on my 2010 EX 4WD (175K miles) along with the other connected components just to do update it all at once. Would like to order an OEM assembly kit, since I don't have the equipment to mount the springs. The assembly kits I'm finding on sites...

About to replace the front struts and rear shocks for the 3rd time (it has 370K miles!). Honda is showing the right front strut part number 51601-S9V-A06 as discontinued :( I'm thinking of going with Moog Suspension replacement struts. My question is do any of you have any experience using...

Pretty much all the suspension bushings are cracked/torn. Can I replace just the bushings or does the entire control arm need to be replaced? Also, I don't have a bushing press and not sure if it's worth dealing with that vs just replacing the entire control arm for the extra cost.
  4. 2012-2015 Pilot
I am wanting to give some fresh life to my suspension and replace the front strut assembly, shocks and rear coil springs. Everywhere I look, they all say that the part is not available. Has anyone had any luck finding replacement coil springs?

So, upon leaving to work today, I noticed that my wife's Pilot is leaning more to the right side than the left (front right passenger side), like as if it had a flat, but it doesn't. Could this be a suspension issue? Bad shock or somethin' like that, that would cause it to be imbalanced lookin'...

Purchased with 130K miles in May 2023. Noted new suspension components. After a couple of weeks a noise developed that I determined to be coming from the front end. Changed wheel bearings in front. No change. Trouble shot for weeks trying to determine WHAT was causing this noise and vibration...

Bought a 2014 Pilot 2WD with 132,000 on it. After about 1,000 miles of ownership, there was a clunk in the front end that developed when I hit the gas from a stop. It slowly is evolving into a clunk when braking, and now over some bumps. I took it to a shop and they couldn't diagnose it...

Would you recommend changing all the rubber parts with the struts or can I get away with just doing the struts?
  9. 2003-2008 Pilot
Question is pretty much in the title: will I need an alignment after replacing my rear trailing arms? I have a 2004 Pilot fyi. Also, is there anything I should be aware of when going about the replacement? I’m planning to replace them with Moog branded arms so hopefully those will be good...

My wife used to have a Mazda tribute and liked the slightly stiffer ride with little sway. The Pilot feels a little too soft to her. We would like to find a strut/shock set up that will make it a bit stiffer and have less roll. Can't seems to find any mention of this on the web. Anyone know...

Happy New Year! So I believe I've learned the cause of the squeaking when going over bumps, and it appears to be the result of damaged trailing arm bushings. I had considered trying to replace them myself but I scoured the internet and couldn't find even one video detailing how to do so on a...

Does anyone have a full rear suspension kit for a 2003 pilot they recommend, or a site for 03 pilot parts so i can get some well deserved parts replaced to keep it solid, i mean its got about 370,000 miles on it and strong

Have an 05, heard a clunk, looked underneath and saw both stab links are busted off. Did this happen bc the subframe is too rotten? Or should I try just replacing the links and send it? if I do need to do the gusset frame repair what all else does it look like needs to b replaced. I have a guy...

I stumbled across this in a FB group and got super excited. It's the first aftermarket suspension for a Pilot (1-3 Generations) that I could find. Supposedly, it's adjustable to handle street and off-road and it offers 0-3 lift. Anyone tried this? Recommendations? Thoughts...

Hi! Just got an 04 Pilot EXL and right rear shock was broken. The metal part that goes from the spindle to the shock broke. I found one on eBay but it’s for 06, ebay says it will not fit, but the part looks identical to what I need and can’t find a correct one. Is eBay wrong or are they really...

Searching for honest Pilot advice... Being told to sell and buy a new car, but I don’t wanna lol I have a 03 Honda Pilot, 111,000 miles -had issues with the D light blinking, took it in to Honda and had 4th clutch pressure switch replaced. Need to give my suspension some TLC but being told...

2014 Touring 4WD here, 160k on the clock. Just did the following this weekend: - Bilstein B6 all around - no new mounting hardware (I might be answering my own question here) - Dorman front LCAs (the fully loaded ones with new bushings and ball joint) -- no new mounting hardware - NAPA...

Updated: So now I am in a dilemma. After speaking to a very trusted friend he recommended KYB because of the price compared to Bilstein. But he still doesn't put KYB over Bilstein because of the price he says they are equal in quality. 2011 Honda Pilot EX-L Suspension question and upgrade...
  19. 2016-2022 Pilot
I'm looking for the better solution (I don't care the price if the solution is good) to upgrade my 2016 Pilot to do off road. The biggest concern with 3rd gen Pilot is ground clearance. I know that I can put bigger tires but, at best, it will only provide 1 more inch clearance. Also, I'm towing...

I have a 2011 EX-L (111k) and just installed new shocks and quick struts (first time doing any suspension work). Stabilizer links were also replaced as they ... resisted ... being disconnected. The first time I turn after it's been parked for a few hours, there is a single clunk. I believe...
