Yeah, it's all about the offset and the overall wheel height. I used Wheel-Size.com :: Reference guide for car wheel and tire dimensions such as size, offset, PCD to figure everything out.

Thanks, Brian! I had a pedal created but I have not had time to install it. I do totally enjoy OpenPilot and I use it all the time. Highly recommended. That's not to say that it doesn't have it's quirks but based on what you told me here you'll be fine. Let me know how it goes!
  3. 2019 Pilot Elite - Black Leather Glittery Spots

    2016- Third generation Pilot
So I read this post the other day and yesterday I was cleaning my car and noticed what you're talking about. It appears to be coming from a layer of plastic behind the leather that you can see through the perforations in the leather.

Yes, they work with the bucket seats in the second row. I have used WeatherTech for years with several other vehicles - I wanted to try something else and I think the 3D MAXpider mats look a little more refined while offering the same benefits. YMMV

Honda Pilot Lowering Kit I really want to drop my Pilot about 1" to give it the stance I want. If you've done any research in this area you'll quickly learn that nobody makes lowering kits for the Pilot. There are no lowering springs, nothing. That said, after spending quite a bit of time...

Thanks for reading! The 3D MAXpider mats have an almost carbon-fiber style pattern to them. The pictures don't really show it but I really like them. They're a perfect fit and use the factory mat clamps as well. Highly recommended and I've been putting WeatherTech in my cars for years.
  8. sr33jan's 2019 Elite Build - 22" wheels & self-driving

    2016- Third generation Pilot
Added Self Driving Since 2016 the Pilot has had Honda Sensing as an option which includes Active Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist System (ACC & LKAS). This system is not terrible but requires the driver to interact with the steering wheel every 15 seconds to confirm that they're actually...

Replaced floor mats The dealer had added the all-weather mats but they lack protection around the sides of the mat. These 3D MAXpider mats have high sidewalls similar to the Weather Tech mats, but in a more attractive style, imho. They are about $200 on amazon. https://amzn.to/2x4wr78

22" Wheels Installed Installed new wheels. These are 22" replicas of the Land Rover Evoque wheels. I picked these up on eBay for $750. I'm very happy with the stance and the fit. There is zero rubbing. Specs: Wheel Size 22 x 9.5 Offset 49mm Tires 275 - 40 - 22 Centric rings are required since...

    Detailing
This post is really old but for anyone interesting in learning about detailing I recommend the AMMO NYC channel on YouTube.
  13. Removing Dealer name?

    Detailing
You can also use fishing line to get behind those raised letters and 'saw' them off. Combine this with a bit of heat for the best results.
  14. Polish/wax that does not stain blk trim?

    Detailing
Try Collinite Insulator Wax #845. It's super easy to put on and remove and won't discolor plastic. You can use it on the entire car, glass, trim etc.

  16. 2019 Already at the dealer for broken honda link and hotspot

    2016- Third generation Pilot
This is interesting to me because during my test drive of a '19 I tapped the hotspot button and got the same message. Perhaps this is pretty widespread?
