Harbor Freight does have 10 inch impact rated extensions for $6.99 but for 24 inches you would need three. Sounds sketchy. However, they also have an impact rated at 1050 lbs. Sounds like a better option. I'd spend more but kind of the point of a DIY project is to save money. I'd really like that Dewalt but....it's expensive and not sure what else I'd use it for.
1/2 in. Quick Release Impact Extension Bar
8.5 Amp Corded 1/2 in. Heavy Duty Extreme Torque Impact Wrench
I'm ashamed to admit I have tools I've only used once ... although for the job, they paid for themselves. Now, even worse, there are tools here that have never been used, but only because I'm "over prepared" for a job I haven't done yet, and may never get to. But, buying tools is fun in itself! I figure if you're a DIY type person, you're saving a lot of money no matter what tools you buy. And on the plus side, uses for tools I never thought of when I bought them, have happened much to my surprise and gles. Just don't buy junk or something that might be dangerous to save money. Doctors and hospitals are waaay expensive plus most people I know really hate pain.
Amazing ... I no sooner mention the Craftsman impact wrench and one shows up in the right column here at a lower price.
