Default Thanks .... more prices are coming in

Thanks for the info, kadiir. I want to be sure I don't get taken off guard with all the "fees."

I just got some additional quotes for an '04 EXL with Navi...

Los Gatos Honda, $32,360
Stevens Creek Honda, $31,328 + 1 free oil & filter change
Elk Grove Honda $33,380.51 (..and 51 cents! LOL, gotta love it)
Compare with Costco's dealer's offer, $32,558, which I received yesterday

So that's the range. Steven's Creek's offer is by far the best.... wonder what the catch is... !

Hi ho, hi ho, off to follow up I go...

if any of these are too far see if a closer dealer will price match

gotta love pitting dealer against dealer

Oh, yeah - I had 3 dealers going at it for several days each beating the other by $100 per turn.

I don't think there's any catch, per se (I mean, other than any "normal" car dealer tactic) - I think Stevens Creek was one of the lowest NorCal quotes I received.

They gave me the lowest price in writing too...but I got an even lower price from another dealer through negotiation. Only warning is that Stevens Creek (like Serramonte where I bought mine) are part of Sonic, which as seen on 60-minutes, tries very hard to get you into their financing. They didn't try any ETCH or other crap, but kept saying they needed my Social Security Number. I told them I'd just go elsewhere since as a cash buyer, there was no need. They gave up eventually.

Just be aware and educated as always.
Good Luck!
