How about posting pictures of our Pilots in some significant Bay Area locations?
Here is mine on Mt. Diablo.

I am in
Let's start the thread and see how many people are interested...
Bay Area? Farther?

Regarding the pictures... I want to go to Marin Headlands and take a pic of the car with GG, fog, SF, bay in the background. I usually take visitors over there. They all go "Wow"...
You know how to get there...?
Cross GG from SF toward Marin, take Alexander Ave, left under the freeway and up on Conzelman Rd. There is a number of good spots on the way up. The real fun starts when you just leave the crowd and follow the road toward Marin Headlands (don't turn around and drive back from the highest point (it becomes one way). Your Pilot will be flying!

Thanks. Yes, it is. I think it is called Summit Road. It's from one of the view points close to the summit.
Here are directions:
http://www.mdia.org/parkmap.htm
I like to go there close to sunset during the high visibility day. Winter is probably better.

BTW... Your signature inspired me to make a suggestion for more Pilot pics in nice Bay Area locations. In fact your idea.
I think yours is from GG parking area on SF side. Am I right?

And here is a picture from the area I described in one of the previous posts.
There is an obvious lack of Pilot

Looks like Battery Mendell! Am I right?
If you drive any further you may find yourself on the way to Hawaii
I meant to go there but the weather is working on our drought issue during recent weekends.

Mendell was actually pre World War I (there are few old installation) so over 100 years! They dismantled it in early forties - they had no protection from aerial assault. Mendell was equipped with "disappearing guns"...
