FS: Sony PS3 60GB - BNIB - In hand - Bay Area locals preferred - Honda Pilot

Hey gang,

I couldn't post this in the Classifieds section of the site as its not Pilot-related, so I hope this is good enough. Basically, I'm tired of getting those emails from scam-buyers on both Craigslist and eBay. I got one last night from some guy in England buying for his son in Los Angeles, who is going to start school in the University of Nigeria.

Anyways, I thought I'd offer it to a select group that pretty much have a common interest of making things better in society... by owning a Honda Pilot.

Here's what I posted on eBay:

It has ended because of the jerk I mentioned above. I filled a Unpaid Item dispute w/ eBay already. Meanwhile, I'm selling it for $800 for local pickup only to HP.org Bay Area members. Please let me know if you have any questions/concerns.

good luck on your sale. but that last part isn't true...there's shipments before march of 2007.

Thanks for the correction. I've taken it out. But let's just say the numbers that Sony were predicting to get out in the US up to this point in time is way short... so consoles are somewhat of an endangered species like a Pinto =p

FYI - stories of availability (or lack thereof) range widely. My local Circuit City and Gamestop keep saying that they won't get any more until March, but Best Buy has been receiving shipments at least once a week since the launch. You just have to be there at the right time - which I just was - WOOHOO!! - I picked up a 60G PS3 this morning.

it never seemed like the ps3 was that hard to find. my local best buys seem to be getting them in regularly. the last few times I went to one, they had the ps3 60gb version available (they even had signs saying they had them in stock!). ebay might be a good bargain now. lots on sale, and I've seen some go for less than retail.

the wii on the other hand...seems like it's been discontinued. haven't seen any available around here.

I got my Wii from CC.com. Purchased at 10am on a Tuesday and delivered at 12pm the next day. I was very pleased with CC.com. However, you might want to avoid the free shipping as this can take quite a bit of time. Upgrade one level and you will probably get the package within 2 days.
