In case anyone would like to meet up in San Francisco or the surrounding Bay Area, I am definitely interested. Even if its just a short meet ( 30 mins - 1 hour), I would be more than happy to meet up. Because I am fairly new to the area (less than 6 months), I do not know too much of the automotive scene out here and would like to meet more people that share the same interests that I do.
If anyone knows of any local Bay Area car forums and could posts links, that would be greatly appreciated as well. Out of curiousity - does anyone here go to the San Bruno golf driving range on Sneath Lane?

I wouldn't mind a meeting somewhere in or near SF. An all day meet would be difficult as we usually have quite a bit going on during the weekends. I think a fair amount of lead time would be required...maybe 2-3 weeks?

hey - even like basic impromptu meets - like, a coffee run or ice cream run - I would be down with. A whole day meet would be too much methinks - something small to begin with and then work our way up from there.
I'm just picking up my golf game again so I go to the range about 3x a week, and I try to make it to the gym (24 hr fitness) 3x a week as well.

Dang! 3x a week? You must have a lot of free time. I should get to the range more often. My game really sucks. We get out early on Saturdays and usually play 9 holes @ Flemming. That's about all we have time for. Get done @ 9:30 and have the rest of the day to do what we need to do.

well, i actually have a pretty full day - but I try to make the time to do the things I need to do.
My typical day is as follows: 830AM - Drop my 3 yr old off at daycare 900AM - Get to work 5PM - get out of work - pick up some fresh groceries for dinner 530PM - pick up the boy / wifey comes home 600PM Make Dinner - start laundry/housework 700PM Have dinner with the wifey and kid 800PM Rather than watch TV, off to the driving range 930PM After the range, off to the gym 1100PM home to shower and sleep I usually run this schedule Monday Tuesday and Thursday. I reserve Friday, Saturday and Sunday exclusively for wife and kid. Based on my career and my recent relocation to the Bay Area, its important for me to build up my social / professional network as much as possible. But no one says I can't have fun while doing it
