Default New to the Bay Area

Hello All -

I recently moved to the Bay Area from the East Coast and I am really interested in becoming more involved with the car scene out here.

Back on the East Coast, I heavily participated in some car forums and I really enjoyed myself and learned alot.

If anyone / group is interested in meets / get togethers, please post their ideas and suggestions. I would love to see this take off and be a part of it.

What part of the bay area? We live in the east bay, myself, my wife and our 1 year old Sophia.

Default RE: New to the Bay Area

It would be nice for all HondaPilot.org members living in the Bay Area to have a special meet.
I'd be interested to join.

I'm in SF. A meet sounds interesting.

Maybe we can do it in a year when the rain stops! It feels like we're up in
Seattle or something. The weather last couple of months really sucks!

Wow - I'm surprised and happy by the response

I'm in the Sunset (with my wife and my 3 year old son), but I'm willing to travel just about any for a meet - this is because I've only been in the Bay Area for 4 months and I love exploring new places. Back east, I was accustomed to nearly weekly meets, but that was with a group of active forum members totalling nearly 500.

But I absolutely agree that we should wait for the weather to clear up. I never realized that SF was so rainy in the winter.

Where would some good spots be to meet up? Some of the places I used to frequent were late night cafes (like Starbucks) and dessert places.

Additionally, I would love to see other car ethusiasts - with a minimal amount of ricers please I'm a big fan of all rides in general - everything from the 70's muscle to JDMs to Euros.
