Default Ratings of SF/Bay Area Honda dealer service

Hey gang,

I'm a subscriber to a magazine called Bay Area Consumer Checkbook. It's like Consumer Reports but reviews (by surveys) services here in the SF/Bay Area. Here's the listings of all of the Honda dealers I could find there.

Just thought you everyone would like to see how their local dealer compares to others (by this measurement). Of course, I still think you can get better service from good independents!

Good luck everyone!
Larry

Hi Everyone,

Well, it's been almost a year since I posted that review.

Here's an updated version of it.

Good luck!
Larry.

I also recommend www.yelp.com

tons of reviews of businesses in SF as well as the Bay Area and some other major metropolitan cities in the US.

Plus the Talk forum is very active, very lively, and has a lot more, um - like minded people than can be found trolling the gen discussions of this site.

if you live in SF, you definitely need yelp - the reviews are invaluable.

Hi Larry,
thank you for posting. It looks like my Concord Honda is not bad.
Are you still the subscriber and if yes would you be able to update?
Cheers,
M

Thank you very much Larry. Very useful.
Napa wins, unfortunately too far. I am east contra costa.
It seems like overall ratings went down from average 88% in March 2007 to average 63% in December 2008.
The March 2007 was ...Percent of customers who rated shop adequate or superior overall... and the December 2008 changed to ...Percent of customers who rated shop superior overall...
So it looks like the Checkbook's method changed, not the service (hopefully )

M
