Default can't do good donuts in snow!?

okay i hope im not the only one on here that enjoys having fun in the snow.
anyways i decided to take the pilot out in it's first real snow of the season(is 3 inches even real snow?), i turned the traction control off and couldn't really do any good donuts. it seemed like the traction control was still engaging and not letting me get smooth slides. fyi im a drifter so decided to see how much fun the pilot can be in the snow. the wrangler still is my off road vehicle of choice

FWD vehicle isn't quite the ideal drifting choice. Just sayin'...

Try again with the VSA (traction control) off, but select 1st gear and turn on the 'VTM-4 Lock'.
That will divert the maximum amount of power to the rear wheels from a standing start.
Keep your speed low because the 'VTM-4 Lock' unlocks above 18mph and then you're essentially back to FWD (unless you accelerate or the front wheels slip).

Must be just you, check this out --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZirChXVU_xM

I know it's a ridgeline, but same awd system. I've done similar with the Pilot, just no-one around to video it!

I was purposely drifting mine just a couple weeks ago in deep/packed snow, with VSA off, in D and D3, no ebrake use. Havent tried donuts...
