My 2013 LX bluetooth tone is so low that it is hard to understand the caller. I tried to adjust the radio bass and treble but it has no effect on the phone function.
Is there a way to adjust the tone of the phone? My Pilot is otherwise excellent:-) |

Do you have any other Bluetooth related problems? Does your phone always stay associated? Have you streamed music over Bluetooth, and if so, how does that sound?
There are some other posts about people having trouble with Bluetooth. The underlying problem could be anything from radio interference, to faulty chipsets in either the car or the phone, to bugs in radio firmware, to bugs in software, to a pooched setting somewhere. I would not be surprised if some day there is a firmware update for Bluetooth in the 2013 Pilot.

Well, you should definitely try to play some music over Hands Free Link, if you can, to see how the audio sounds with that.

Bumpfire, to add to what EmptyTank said, play a high quality music MP3 or something and see how it sounds. The sound quality should be "comparable" to having the phone connected via USB or an audio cable, unless your phone is old and using an old bluetooth spec. I put "comparable" in quotes because audiophiles often scoff at bluetooth music quality, but the average person listening on a factory stereo won't notice a huge difference on phones running a newer bluetooth version (most phones made in the last 2-3 years should be fine). Also keep in mind that a lot of phones have a separate bluetooth volume setting. For example, when my phone connects to BT the volume settings switch to BT mode and are independent of normal volume (in my Galaxy S3 there is a little BT symbol on the volume slider that shows up when I'm adjusting the volume while connected via BT). Also, during a phone call and while connected to BT, make sure the phone's volume is up all the way to make sure the BT-specific call volume is maximized.
