Honda is recalling 777,000 vehicles, including Pilot model years 2009-2013 (as well as 2011-2013 Ody), for a defect that may cause issues with driver's side airbag deployment. Link here.

not again. I have already visited to the Honda dealer for seat belt recall. ( they didn't find any problem ).

Now I have to go back to Honda dealer for air bag?. Do you guys think we might have another recall in 2014?

There are always recalls, on virtually every make and model out there. Paw around on Recalls.gov and input random makes and models. Mercedes has a seatbelt recall going on right now, if that provides any background.

go on your normally planned visit and take care of it.

I don't visit so I'll go when I experience an issue.

Update on this... I happened to have to bring my Pilot in for B16 service today, so I asked if they can do the recall service yet - they said yes, and are doing it now.

So, if you happen to be bringing your Pilot in for service anyway in the next month or two, you don't have to wait for Honda to send you the letter. They will do the check and work whenever. Might save you a trip.

I did the same thing. I took my 2012 Touring in for a Oil Change (was at 30% - they wouldn't do it yet...) and asked about the Recall. They said it was an inspection and would take a look. Apparently, mine was OK as nothing needed to be done.

Here is the link to recalls on Honda's web site.

Honda Automobile Recall Information

It also lets you check bases on your Pilots VIN

Typed in the VIN for my 2012 Touring and it said no recalls are applicable to this truck. Kinda weird, I thought almost all Pilots would be affected.

Same thing for me, but I'll keep checking every week or so.

Same here, but I actually went to the Honda dealer and they told me I was part of the recall.

They checked it and found that the rivets on my air bag were all fine.

The service manager told me they have yet to see one that was actually missing any rivets.
