Default Best chains for 2013

Just purchased a 2013 Pilot and need to get a set of chains. The OM's recommendation is for 17" tires not the 18" stock tires that are on the Pilot.
Any suggestions on what will work with the 18" P235/60 R18 102T?

Not sure about 2013, but the 2012 OM doesn't mention tire size only makes a chain recommendation (p 606- 2012)...per SCC it fits both the 17 and 18 inch tires available on the 2012 Pilot should be the same on the 2013 MY.

"Because your vehicle has limited tire
clearance, Honda strongly
recommends using the chains listed
below.
SCC Super Z-6 SZ-429"

Thanks RSQ. I did a search on Peerless' website and came up with this Auto-Trac 2300 Series Light Truck-Suv Tire Chains (Pair). I am assuming that "S" clearance refers to the wheel well distance from the tire. So it seems this might be the right fit.

Cable style chain of as noted in the OM is the one Honda recommends....
"SCC Super Z-6 SZ-429".....maybe Honda tried this one. I would check with Peeless customer service and Honda America's tech line to see if this S-clearance chain link style is acceptable too.

Yes definitely check, I went many places trying to find a pair and non would work. Had to go to the dealer to get them 140 bucks. Then I found out this thing does great on the snow/ice returned them when i got home and ordered them from amazon for 89.00 so I would still have them when required.

Haven't seen the need for chains on my 2013 EX-L. So far, it's handling 7 to 10 inches of snow and ice in northern Minnesota with no problem ... on frozen lakes and unplowed back woods roads. Realize, however, chains may be required in mountains and maybe in conditions I have not yet encountered.

I just bought from Amazon what's recommended from the OM.
But to be honest, I haven't used it yet.
It's in the trunk just in case I'll ever need it.
