Hello all,
I just bought LED switchback turning signals with resistors. It says I have to splice wires from the stock wires. Maybe I am too lazy, but the wires on the driver's side and passenger side are all different and don't want to bother with volt meter. Do I have to do that or can I get a relay at Advance that takes care of hyper-flashing? Please help. |

Can you take a picture of the LED Switchback lights and possibly the wiring you are talking about?

They both have relays for LED applications.
This is typically the one you'd use. They SHOULD have it in your local store. Tridon/Turn Signal Flasher (EP35) | AutoZone.com |

I thought the 2nd post was referring to the switchback LEDs?

Boy this LED switchback is costing me little by little.
First, I didn't want to cut or splice into original wires. Bought relay ($16), took half the dash apart as I couldn't find the relays next or above the dead pedal. Then ordered bypass adapters from ebay (they don't fit) paid $20 Now called dealer and ordered original sockets to replace the wrong ones on the adapter (cost $25.10) Total invested is now over $75 just for the freaking switchbacks. Now I dread thinking on how to take the wrong socket out and attaching the new socket, then making sure the wires are correctly inserted. Will update soon with pictures if success is reached. |
