My wife took a 36 month lease on a 2013 EX, she gave her 2008 Jeep Cherokee Laredo in Trade-in, the payoff on the Jeep was 12,150.00, the dealer gave her $10,000 for it and added the other 2,150 to the cost of the Pilot, No money down, her payment is $451.00 a month.

Purchased a 2013 EX 4wd in southern NJ for $30,342 and 0.9 for 60 months. I was going to buy one without any options and outfit it later but my wife liked one they had on the lot. It has a roof rack, running boards with lights, all season floor mats and wheel locks. Got the floor mats and wheel locks for free but they got me on the running boards and roof rack. Wish I would have seen some of the oem prices on the web before I signed. Could have saved a few bucks.

Assuming 9.25% LA County tax and other fees you were under $33k on the vehicle including destination and doc fees?

$31700 for my EX 2WD
$29104 for the truck w/ destination
$600 doc fee (it appears every GA dealer's doc fee is north of $500)
$1995 taxes (no more GA ad valorem "birthday" tax )

Decided to trade in my car with softball sized hail damage (it was a sad day) and engine problems and got $1700 for it. Paid $30k OTD

Had it for 2 weeks. No complaints

This is my first post - been in the shadows for a month now. Great info and community here.

The day after Christmas I bought a 2013 EX-L 2WD with Navi in Obsidian Blue Pearl for $36,250 out the door. The dealer claimed the vehicle had about $1800 in options already installed (I doubt it) but didn't get charged for them but Honda Finance did add $500 to the down payment. I put $5K down so with the 0.9% financing I have a 48 month loan at $660/Mo.

So far I'm really happy with the vehicle and the mileage (I drive like an elderly person) is fantastic.

Got a 2013 Pilot 4wd Touring from Lia Honda in Enfield, CT. Working with their internet sales Dept was great and no one in CT would touch their price. $37115 plus $399 dealer conveyance fee for a total of $37514 before taxes.

What kinds of hidden factory-to-dealer incentives are out there now?

Figuring Invoice - Holdback (2% of MSRP) - $500 factory rebate - $500 Honda Financing rebate = $36,722 for the 4WD Touring / $35,295 for the 2WD Touring.

I have 3 dealers offering me a 2WD Touring at $35k even ($300 under dealer "cost") w/o negotiation. You're getting around $1500 under dealer "cost" on the 4WD Touring - either way, it sounds like I'm missing something in my calculation and should be holding out for $33,750 on the 2WD Touring.

Thoughts anyone?

That pricing is too low for 4WD touring.
