My wife and I had the same conversation... I get the 1-hour commute (leave the house at 4:30 am) and she gets the 10-minute commute. We chose to have a large house (like yours in the NW Burbs) with the 3-car garage in the nose-bleed section of suburbia and (for me to do) the LONG-A$$ commute!!!
