Default Time for another OKI meet

It's been quite a while since our last outing at the wonderful Buffalo crossing (thanks for hosting, Don!), so it's time to get together once again. This meeting will be in the Cincinnati/Northern KY area and I'll be sponsoring this event. My first thought was to have something at Newport on the Levee (www.newportonthelevee.com). There are nice places to eat and quite a few areas to sit and talk. There is an ice cream shop and a candy store for after dinner, if interested. The Newport aquarium (http://www.newportaquarium.com/) is also part of the same complex. Having lunch and then going to the aquarium would be a great time, no doubt!

Another option would be the Museum Center at Union Terminal (http://www.cincymuseum.org/). It houses the Cincinnati History Museum, the Museum of Natural History & Science, the Children's Museum, and an OmniMax theater (much better than a plain old IMax theater). The lunch there would be much less formal than on the Levee.

I'm also open to other options, so any of you Cincinnati area members should speak up! We have done these meets on Sunday's in the past and I would liket to continue that. The only weekend I think is out for me is June 8th. Anything Sundays before that are fine with me.

So, who's up for it?

I ccould be, but these next few weeks are pretty crazy for me. Once school is out and I can put one of my jobs (teacher) on the back burner for a couple of months I should be more likely to make it. We probably have a lot more pilot owners in the area now as well.

Dang, White. You were one of the one's I was really hoping would be able to be there. If May ends up being bad for people and this ends up pushing into mid-June, maybe chances will be better for you. I'm also thinking that Indy might be a good place for the meet after this one. Wonder who might be able to help us there...

Mid-June is out for us, we will be trekking to Wyoming, around the state, and back in June! Do it before June 8 please!

Personally I'd vote for the Museum Terminal - want a good place to park and get all the Pilots together for a photo opportunity.
That would be hard in the parking structure of the Newport Aquarium area, wouldn't it? Of course you might know more about different parking alternatives than me.

But we love the aquarium and would love to return - it's been a few years and I know they have added a lot to it since it first opened. Is there a nice open-air place to park several Pilots there???

Just a couple of responses? I'm wondering if we would have better turnout if we waited until early July? What do you guys think?

Do they still sell tickets for cheap in the "top six rows" of where ever it is the Reds play now?

P.S. How come the DC area's meet is advertised on the home page as "first scheduled Pilot meet luncheon" when we've had two, and the Arizona group had one before us?
